Day 1 – Touchdown Rome, transfer to Naples
Touchdown in Rome Airport. Meet your tour manager and bus driver. Transfer and sightseeing of Naples, added to the UNESCO World Heritage from 1995. Naples is a magical place where colors, flavors, culture and history are intertwined in a charming mix of knowledge, joy and fun. Check in, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Naples: Day Trip to Pompeii and Capri
Compare the tragic story of a city buried by volcanic ash with a jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea on a tour of Pompeii and Capri. Stroll around the ruins of Pompeii with an archaeologist guide. Then, take the hydrofoil to glamorous Capri from Naples. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Naples sightseeing
Naples is one of the largest and most captivating art cities on the Mediterranean Sea. The city dominates the Gulf of Naples. Besides its gorgeous scenery, Naples owes its much-deserved fame to the charm and intrigue of its historic center. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Naples: Day Trip to Amalfi Coast
Enjoy yourself in a true earthly paradise suspended between land and sea to discover 3 authentic pearls of the Mediterranean and the Amalfi coast – Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Naples to Rome and sightseeing
Leave the enchanting Naples today and travel to Rome. Enjoy superb views of the city from Janiculum, situated just outside the ancient city and is a great place to admire the panorama from the top of the hill on the Ethernal City. The view is breath-taking. Some free time for shopping in Rome. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Rome: Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon
Today enjoy a tour of ancient Rome and the medieval part of Rome. This tour is an entire walking tour which will last several hours but you will be rewarded with an amazing history and absolute beauty of an ancient city. Visit the Roman Colosseum, the Forum Romanum, see Trevi Fountain and visit the Pantheon. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 7 – Rome: Vatican and transfer to Florence
Today we will visit the Vatican Museum. Be intrigued by the wonders of the Sistine Chapel and see the mighty composition of The Last Judgement painted by Michelangelo between 1536 to 1542. After visiting the Sistine Chapel we will visit the amazing Raphael’s Rooms, painted by Raphael and the School of Raphael between 1508 to 1524. These rooms are part of the Pontifical Palace. Leave wonderful Rome today and travel to the birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 8 – Florence sightseeing
Enjoy a 4h guided walking tour upon arrival with visits to the famous Cathedral and the Basilica Santa Croce, where Michelangelo, Rossini and Galileo Galilei are buried. Some free time for shopping and individual visits. Dinner and overnight
Day 9 – Florence to Venice and sightseeing
After breakfast, leave splendid Florence today and travel to the inimitable, romantic gem of Italy, Venice. We take a little stroll to San Marco Square and have a glass of wine at a typical Venetian bar, a bit time for shopping before heading for dinner. Overnight
Day 10 – Venice sightseeing
After breakfast enjoy a guided tour of Venice with your local guide and visit San Marco Basilica and Doge Palace. The afternoon is free to explore wonderful Venice further. Take a stroll to the many little beautiful squares or take a gondola ride along some of the little canals in Venice. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 – Farewell
Fly home. As we leave with new friends and wonderful memories, we fondly say Ciao Italia!
